What to eat to avoid heart attack?

Dr. Vikas Kumar told on his X account that if you want to avoid heart attack then you will have to include 5 super foods in your diet. He has given this advice quoting cardiologist Dr. M Singh.

The cases of heart attack are increasing among the youth as well as the elderly. Taking care of this vital organ should be your top priority.

-A diet rich in trans fat and cholesterol can give you a heart attack.

On the other hand, a diet low in sodium, high in fiber, rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, antioxidants, nuts and seeds reduces the risk of heart attack by reducing inflammation and triglyceride levels.

Consuming these things is beneficial for health

1. Avocado

This fruit contains monosaturated fat which removes bad cholesterol from the body, thereby reducing the risk of plaque/blockage and high blood pressure. Apart from heart health, avocado also helps prevent cancer, arthritis, depression/stress and inflammation.

-Walnut

These seeds are rich in fiber, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids, which can reduce the risk of hot flashes manifold.
