New Rules From 1st August 2024: There are some changes on the first date of every month. Here we are telling you about the changes which are going to be implemented from August 1, 2024. These changes are going to affect your pocket. There will be a change in the price of LPG gas cylinder on August 1. Also, there is going to be a change in the charge of HDFC credit card. Gas cylinder prices are fixed on the first of every month. The prices of commercial and domestic gas cylinders are fixed on 1 August. Last month, the government had reduced the prices of commercial gas cylinders. This time too, it is expected that the government will fix the prices of gas cylinders.
HDFC Bank's credit card rules will change
Customers using CRED, Cheq, MobiKwik, Freecharge and other such services to pay fare will be charged 1% on the transaction amount, limited to ₹3000 per transaction. Fuel transactions will not attract any additional charges for transactions less than ₹15,000 per transaction. However, transactions above ₹15,000 will attract 1% on the entire amount, limited to ₹3,000 per transaction.
Utility transaction rules will change
No additional charges will be levied on transactions below ₹50,000. Transactions above ₹50,000 will attract a 1% fee on the entire amount, limited to ₹3000 per transaction. Transactions made through third party apps like CRED, Cheq, MobiKwik and others will attract a 1% fee, limited to ₹3000 per transaction. Late payment charge processing has been increased from ₹100 to ₹1,300 depending on the outstanding amount. Availing Easy-EMI option at any online or offline store will attract an EMI processing charge of up to ₹299. HDFC Bank will implement the changes in its Tata New Infinity and Tata New Plus credit cards from August 1, 2024. From August 1, 2024, users of Tata New Infinity HDFC Bank credit card will get 1.5% NewCoins on eligible UPI transactions done using the Tata New UPI ID.
Google Maps changed the rules, reduced the fee by 70%
Google Maps has made important changes to its rules in India, which will be applicable across the country from August 1, 2024. The company has reduced the fee for its services in India by up to 70 percent. Along with this, now Google Maps will charge for its services in Indian rupees instead of dollars. However, this change will not affect the common users as no additional fee has been charged from them.
Bank Holidays in August
The month of August is about to come. In the year 2024, banks will remain closed for a total of 13 days. These include all Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays. In the month of August, banks will remain closed for six days due to weekends. Apart from this, there will be holidays for seven days due to various festivals. Banks will remain closed on the occasion of Independence Day on 15 August, Rakshabandhan on 19 August and Janmashtami on 26 August.
