Champawat, 01 April (Hindus). In order to conduct the Lok Sabha elections in a fair and transparent manner, web casting of sensitive booths of the district will be done.
On Monday, training was given to the personnel in the District Panchayat Auditorium for web casting. Information about camera operation and net connectivity along with precautions to be taken during webcasting was given by the Master Trainer. Assistant Nodal Officer, Dr. MP Joshi, who was giving the training, explained about the work responsibilities of the appointed personnel and the procedure to be followed at the polling place. He said that for transparency and fairness in the voting processes of Lok Sabha elections, web casting will be done by the Commission for live monitoring of sensitive polling places in 172 booths on the day of polling, so that irregularities can be detected immediately through webcasting.
On this occasion, Nodal Officer, Co-Nodal Officer Webcasting, Shri KS Kanyal, ELM Joshi were present.
