Jharkhand Police is on alert mode to ensure that peace and law and order is maintained in the state during Durga Puja. According to the information received on Saturday, additional deployment of more than ten thousand security forces has been made in all the districts by the Police Headquarters. .
During the puja, anti-social elements should not create any disturbance in the enthusiasm of the puja. This deployment has been made in this regard. 5030 lathi force and 4975 home guard personnel have been deployed in the security arrangements. Apart from this, five RAP teams, BDS team and four tear gas companies have also been deployed. Besides, 570 soldiers have been kept in reserve under the control of the DIG of the range. Special branch personnel and officers in plain clothes have also been deployed in different districts of the state, who will keep an eye on every suspect. If any kind of suspicious activity is seen anywhere, he will take immediate initiative to take action on it.
