There will be strong security arrangements in the state regarding Muharram

Ranchi, July 12 (HS). Tight security arrangements have been made in the state including the capital Ranchi for Muharram. Additional police force is being deployed in all the sensitive districts of the state. Police headquarters has given instructions to be extra cautious in those districts where communal incidents have taken place in the past.

To prevent any untoward incident, 16 companies of ECO, a company of RAP, 2388 lathi forces and 5 thousand home guards have been deployed in the state. Forces have been deputed for security and law and order in the districts from 15 to 17 July. On the orders of the DGP and IG Abhiyan, orders have been issued in this regard on Friday. During the procession, all police personnel have been instructed to carry body protectors and other riot control equipment with them.

To prevent anti-social elements from spreading rumours on social media, SSPs and SPs of all districts have been directed to monitor it. Police will keep a strict vigil on social media.

If any kind of rumour spreads, it has been instructed to verify it immediately. Local peace committee meetings have been held in all police stations. The members of the peace committee were told that if they receive any fake or misleading news, they must immediately inform the district administration and their nearest police station. So that necessary action can be taken by taking cognizance of it in time. AV Homkar said that strong security arrangements have been made in the entire state for Muharram. Additional police personnel have been deployed in all districts in adequate numbers.

On the other hand, about 3000 soldiers will be deployed in the capital Ranchi. SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha said that all the sensitive and most sensitive places have been identified for Muharram. Adequate number of security forces will be deployed along with magistrates for security.
