Ranchi, 23 March (Hindu). Tight security arrangements have been made in the entire state including the capital Ranchi regarding Holi festival. Eight thousand 820 additional soldiers have been deployed for security. This includes 4500 additional forces and 4320 home guard personnel.
On the instructions of Police Headquarters, JAP, IRB and other forces have been deployed for law and order in 24 districts. Also, to maintain peace and order, the Police Headquarters has directed to exercise extra vigilance in sensitive areas. IG Abhiyan has issued orders related to this on Saturday. Apart from this, wrap companies will also be deployed in Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Giridih, Dumka, Jamshedpur.
Along with the police officer, a magistrate has also been deployed. Everyone has been instructed to remain deployed equipped with anti-riot security equipment. Apart from this, all SSPs and SPs have been instructed to take special vigilance regarding Holi festival in their respective districts.
