Weather Update: Pre-monsoon activity has increased in most parts of the country. This will provide relief from the heat to many states. It has rained in many states including Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. According to Skymet Weather report, due to the combination of weather systems, this type of weather pattern has not been seen yet. Due to this, there will be heavy rain in many parts of the country in the coming days.
India Meteorological Department said that thunderstorm with lightning may occur in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh. Meanwhile, hailstorm along with strong winds may also occur in some parts of these states.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be strong winds at a speed of 30-40 km per hour along with lightning in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Assam and Meghalaya. Chhattisgarh, the Himalayan region of West Bengal and Sikkim have expressed the possibility of electricity. There may be snowfall in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh, while heavy rain is expected at many places. There is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand also.
According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain and snowfall is likely over parts of Western Himalayas, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh in the next 24 hours. Light to moderate rain may occur in parts of Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh. Light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely over Interior Karnataka, Kerala, parts of Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Marathwada, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of light rain at some places in Jharkhand, Odisha, Lakshadweep and Gujarat.
Dust storm in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan. Light to moderate rain with isolated hailstorm may occur in some areas. Hot and humid conditions will prevail over southern states like Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala.

Today on 14th April it will be cloudy. There is a possibility of strong winds in Delhi NCR. There will be light rain. The temperature is likely to drop by five degrees. On Sunday, the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 23 degrees. Today the wind speed can be 30-40 km per hour. However, due to rain, less dust particles will fly.
'Fire' will rain after April 15!
There has been relief from heat wave in many places from North to South India. It has been estimated that there will be no drought situation in any area of India till 14-15 April. Odisha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh have been alerted about heat wave after April 15.
