Punjab weather update: The weather will remain clear in Punjab and Chandigarh for the next 5 days. In such a situation the day temperature will increase. An increase of 0.1 degrees has been recorded in the temperature in 24 hours. Along with this, the temperature has also become normal now. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 35.3 degrees in Faridkot. On the other hand, the night temperature has started falling in the surrounding districts of Himachal Pradesh. The minimum temperature in Pathankot reached 18.4 degrees.
Monsoon departed from the state on October 2. After this, the Meteorological Department predicted that two western disturbances will be active between 6th and 10th. There will be a possibility of rain due to this. However, it did not rain as expected at that time. There has been 34 percent less rainfall so far in the month of October. This season there was 3.7 mm rainfall, whereas this time there was 2.2 mm rainfall. There was not even a single drop of rain in many districts. Along with this, the weather will remain clear till 17th. Also, the maximum and minimum temperatures are also likely to remain the same. Thus, Chandigarh has not received a single rainfall since the departure of monsoon.

Jalandhar – The temperature was recorded at 32.0 degrees on Wednesday evening. It will be cloudy today. The temperature will be between 24.0 to 35.0 degrees.
