According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), a low pressure area is likely to form in the south-west of the Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours, due to which heavy rains are expected in many areas of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and South Karnataka. .

IMD has predicted heavy rain in Tamil Nadu from 11 to 17 November and Kerala from 13 to 17 November. Similarly, rain is expected in Andhra Pradesh from 11 to 14 November and South Karnataka from 13 to 15 November. Apart from this, due to western disturbance from November 14, the weather in the western Himalayan region may be affected. Dense fog will prevail over Punjab and Himachal Pradesh in North India, where visibility may be very low.

Danger of heavy rain in South India

The Meteorological Department has warned of rain as well as thunderstorm and lightning in various areas of South India. There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain especially in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Rayalaseema and Andhra Pradesh.

Air pollution crisis in Delhi-NCR

A slight drop in temperature has been recorded in Delhi-NCR in the last 24 hours. The maximum temperature in this region ranges between 30-32 °C and the minimum temperature ranges between 14-19 °C. The Meteorological Department has predicted smog, light fog and mist to prevail in the region in the next four days.
