Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning. According to this, heavy rains have been predicted in Maharashtra and Gujarat. Yellow alert has been issued for Mumbai, Pune, Thane and Palghar. Apart from this, orange alert has also been declared for Raigad (Navi Mumbai), Ratnagiri, Bhandra and Satara. Meanwhile, BMC has also released data, according to which some areas have received more than 200 mm of rain till 8 am on Sunday and Monday. According to the Meteorological Department, rain warning has been issued in Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha on Monday. Apart from this, an alert of very heavy rain has been issued in Goa and Madhya Pradesh on July 24. Heavy rain is forecast in Western Madhya Pradesh on July 24 and in Eastern Madhya Pradesh on July 23. Similar forecast is for Gujarat on July 24 and 25. Heavy rain may occur in Gangetic West Bengal on July 23, Jharkhand from July 23 to 25, Eastern Madhya Pradesh on July 24 and 25. Apart from this, similar forecast is for the next five days in coastal areas of Odisha and Karnataka.

Heavy rain warning has been issued in parts of Uttarakhand, Western Uttar Pradesh in North West India. Apart from this, similar forecast has been issued for Eastern Rajasthan on 23 July, Himachal Pradesh on 23 July and Uttarakhand between 23 to 25 July. Heavy rain may occur in Himachal Pradesh on 24-25 July, Punjab, Haryana and Chhattisgarh on 23 July, Uttar Pradesh from 23 to 25 July, Western Rajasthan on 24 July.
