In view of the huge purchases by consumers in the markets across the country on Rakshabandhan, Ganesh Puja, Navratri, Durga Puja and Dussehra, there is a strong possibility of a business of Rs 4.25 lakh crore during the festive season this year. Last year the figure of this trade was Rs 3.5 lakh crore, in Delhi alone this figure is estimated to be more than Rs 75 thousand crore. The wedding season will start soon after the festive season, in which traders across the country are expecting huge business.
