There will be a lift from earth to space, Japanese company will soon start working on 'Space Elevator'

Think of an elevator that will take you from Earth to the Moon. A Japanese company is going to make it a reality. Obayashi Corporation is currently engaged in research on a project to build an elevator for space. According to the report, work on this 'space elevator' may begin soon.

The basic idea behind the Japanese company's project is quite simple. They believe that a long cable connecting Earth to space can take us into orbit at a very low cost. This can take us to other planets at record speeds. Scientists estimate that it will take only 3-4 months to reach Mars by space elevator instead of 6 to 8 months.

Obayashi Corporation holds the record for building the world's tallest tower, Tokyo Skytree. In 2012, the company announced the construction of a space elevator. In a report this year, the company said construction of the $100 billion project would begin in 2025. The company hoped its space elevator would be operational by 2050.Japan is building a lift, not a rocket, to go to space

Sending people and other things into space on rockets is very expensive. The US space agency NASA estimates that its four Artemis moon missions will cost about $16.4 billion. The biggest part of this cost is fuel. You need a lot of fuel to go into space and that fuel is heavy, which means the amount of fuel needed increases.

The construction of a space elevator would eliminate the need for rockets or fuel. Its design suggests that equipment could be carried into orbit by electromagnetic vehicles called climbers. These climbers would be powered by solar energy or microwaves.
