After the war between the two countries, the Sri Lankan government extended his visa and allowed him to stay in the country.

While the Sri Lankan government is also attracting tourists to improve the economic condition of the country, the government has increased the visas with the calculation that if these tourists stay in the country, the economy will benefit. Thousands of Russian and Ukrainian citizens are currently found in Sri Lanka. However, now suddenly the Sri Lankan Immigration Department has issued a notice to Russian and Ukrainian tourists to leave the country in two weeks.
