Even today, many stories of departmental negligence are heard. The surprising thing is that how can the selected personnel in any department, who are considered qualified and trained, commit any mistake.
One such case has come to light from Ramna village of Varanasi. Something similar happened with the girls living there. In fact, during Diwali, more than 35 girls of Ramana village received messages on their mobile phones, in which they were registered as pregnant women. However, in this case, the department has deleted the data even before the complaint and sent a notice to the responsible employees.
What did the Chief Development Officer say? In fact, when ABP News asked Varanasi Chief Development Officer Himanshu Nagpal about this matter, he said that an information was received from Ramna village of Varanasi, where some teenage girls were registered as pregnant women.
He got this information through a mobile message before Diwali. When the department investigated the matter, it came to light that the Anganwadi women who provide nutrition to pregnant women and children are also BLOs. Under a scheme, Anganwadi women were going door-to-door collecting Aadhaar cards and forms from rural family members.
When the truth came out, it was revealed that the Chief Development Officer of Varanasi said that the Anganwadi workers, while submitting the form, accidentally mixed both the forms along with the Aadhaar number. After this, registration was done on the same Aadhaar number, after which the girls received this message. But taking immediate cognizance of this matter, the data was deleted even before the complaint. This is a human error. Besides, a notice has also been issued to the people responsible in this matter.
