Lakhimpur Kheri, 9 October (Hindustan Reporter). A scuffle broke out between BJP Sadar MLA Yogesh Verma and Advocates Association President Awadhesh Singh in the Urban Cooperative Bank elections. After which the Sadar MLA has made serious allegations against Awadhesh Singh. The MLA's supporters created a ruckus. This incident which took place in front of heavy police force also raised questions on the working style of the police.
According to the information received, the election process of Urban Cooperative Bank was going on on Tuesday. Meanwhile, there was a discussion about something between BJP Sadar MLA Yogesh Verma and Advocates Association President Awadhesh Singh and a scuffle broke out in front of the police. During this, Sadar MLA Yogesh Verma alleged that Awadhesh Singh had scuffled with him in front of the police, in which even his kurta got torn. After this the supporters of Sadar MLA raised slogans. Sadar Kotwal said that in view of the seriousness of the incident, heavy police force has been deployed on the spot.
