Neema Devi says that she has been celebrating the festival of democracy and casting her vote for many years. Whenever elections come, she definitely goes to vote wearing new clothes. She said that there has never been a time in her life when she would not have ensured her participation in the festival of democracy. She also appealed to the youth to cast their vote.
90-year-old Ramrati, who came to cast her vote at the Delhi Municipal Corporation Girls School polling booth in Qutub Vihar, says that whether it is heat or any other work, the most important thing is to vote for the development of the country. If everyone does not exercise their right to vote by giving some excuse or the other, then they should not even complain. She says that earlier she used to go to vote with many of her friends, but now she is going to vote with her grandchildren.
