The Meteorological Department has said on Wednesday that the sky will be generally cloudy during this period and light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 32˚C and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 27˚C. Kolkata has recorded 6.5 mm of rain in the last 24 hours, which may cause waterlogging in various parts of the city.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum humidity was 94 percent and the minimum humidity was 82 percent, due to which the humidity level in the city has increased significantly. Citizens have been advised to avoid going out during the rain and take necessary precautions.
