There may be a clash between Biden and Trump again in the presidential elections in America

Presidential elections are going to be held in America later this year. Meanwhile, internal elections for the presidential bid in the Democratic and Republican parties are becoming interesting. While only Joe Biden has emerged as the Democratic Party candidate so far, Nikki Haley has challenged Donald Trump in the Republican Party. However, till now Trump is ahead of the rest of the party's contenders in all the states. On Tuesday, both Biden and Trump won the primary (an internal party contest) in Michigan.

It is worth noting that the Democratic and Republican parties field only the candidate who wins these primaries as their presidential candidate. In Michigan, President Biden took advantage of his popularity and defeated Representative Dean Phillips of Minnesota, who was still challenging him in the Democratic Party. With this the party has further strengthened its claim for the post of President.

On the other hand, Donald Trump, who did not lose any of the internal elections held in the four states of the Republican Party, also won in Michigan on Tuesday. She once again defeated nearest rival Nikki Haley. According to Trump's campaign, to run as the Republican Party's presidential nominee, Trump would need the support of a total of 1,215 delegates (the party's locally designated representatives) from all states by mid-March.
