Taipei: Taiwan President Ching-tey is going to visit the Pacific Islands from the 30th of this month. Typically: Any high-ranking official from Taiwan visits friendly countries in the Pacific. At that time he moved towards America, but this time there is no possibility that Lai will stay in America.

It is noteworthy that in the last two years, when the Chinese President or Vice President celebrates holidays in America, China visits Taiwan and within a few days starts military exercises against Taiwan. The President or Vice President of Taiwan will meet with American politicians and give speeches during American holidays.

Tai will visit the Pacific islands of Palau, the Marshall Islands and Tua Tsu before stopping at the US military base in Guam. From there his plane will rest in Hawaii, America’s 50th state. Then the said Pacific islands are to be visited. When journalists pressed for details of these stops, Taiwan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Tien Chung-kwang said that these details would be released at the appropriate time.

Lai’s visit has shocked China. It considers Taiwan as its territory. Taiwan, on the other hand, considers itself independent and sovereign, which is true.

The three island nations in the Pacific Ocean are among 12 countries in the world that have formal diplomatic relations with Taiwan.

It is noteworthy that there is a bet between America and China to establish their control over many islands in the Pacific Ocean. Taiwan continues to be eager to build friendships with islands under American influence.

China considers Taiwan as its province. However, Taiwan is not willing to join China. China continues to conduct naval and aircraft exercises to intimidate Taiwan. It conducts military exercises on the mainland towards Taiwan. But Taiwan, which is heavily supported by America, does not budge.

Since India has adopted the One-China policy like other countries in the world, it does not allow Taiwan to open official embassies. But, allow for educational and commercial offices. Political science professors act as de facto ambassadors in academic offices in Taiwan. Which China also knows, but cannot oppose, because everything is clean on paper.

Former Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen stops in Los Angeles during her visit to Peru. At that time, McCarthy, the speaker of the lower house of the US Parliament (House of Representatives), had met him and discussed about US-Taiwan relations. When China objected, the US said that McCarthy had gone to personally meet Tsai. There is complete democracy in our country. We cannot stop anyone from meeting others.
