Bhopal, 24 September (HS). Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said that there is no dearth of capable doctors in Madhya Pradesh. To enable all doctors to provide services to the best of their abilities, availability of adequate medical and auxiliary medical manpower, health infrastructure and equipment is being ensured. Along with infrastructure development, the dedication, service spirit and hard work of doctors strengthens health services.
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla was addressing the “Chikshak Samman-2024” program of a private media group in Bhopal on Tuesday evening. He said that whatever Madhya Pradesh decides, it does it, just as Madhya Pradesh has achieved the top position in the country in the field of agriculture, energy and cleanliness. In the same way, with integrated efforts, we will become an excellent state by improving various parameters of the health sector at a fast pace, infant maternal mortality rate, etc. Efforts are being made to strengthen health services in rural areas. Work is being done on the availability of skilled doctors, infrastructure and equipment required to upgrade the Community Health Center to the district level.
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that health services are being strengthened in Madhya Pradesh under the strong and glorious leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Today there are 14 medical colleges in the state, approval has been received for operation of 3 more medical colleges. Preparations are underway to operate 6 medical colleges in the coming year. Efforts are also being made to operate medical colleges on PPP mode so that excellent health services are available in every district. The Deputy Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh will soon become a medical hub. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla presented the Chikitsa Samman-2024 award to doctors who have done excellent work in the field of medical education and medical service delivery.
