Kanpur, 20 September (HS). After the heavy rains in Uttar Pradesh in the past few days, the sun shone brightly in the sky on Friday, due to which the temperature increased and the mood of the weather changed. However, this mood is not for long and the sequence of showers continues. The Meteorological Department says that at present there are no signs of monsoon returning to Uttar Pradesh and the rain will continue till the month of September.

Dr. S N Sunil Pandey, meteorologist of Chandrashekhar Azad Agricultural Technology University, said on Friday that the monsoon trough at sea level is now passing through Jaisalmer, Shivpuri, Siddhi, Jamshedpur, Digha and then in the south-east direction through the East Central Bay of Bengal. Due to this, the movement of clouds in the sky in North India including Uttar Pradesh stopped today and the temperature increased due to bright sunshine. Due to the increase in temperature, people suddenly had to face humid heat. However, this change in weather is temporary, because new low pressure areas are being formed daily in the Bay of Bengal these days. These low pressure areas will again affect Uttar Pradesh including North India for the next five days and there are chances of rain. At present, the effect of sea storm Yagi and anti-cyclone formed in Rajasthan has completely weakened, due to which there was a change in today's weather and showers occurred only in some districts and the sky remained clear in most of the districts. At the same time, conditions of La Nina are also seen forming in marine activities, due to which the weather will change with rain in the coming days.

He said that the maximum temperature in Kanpur was recorded at 33.4 and the minimum temperature was 23.4 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity in the morning was 82 and the relative humidity in the afternoon was 61 percent. The wind direction was northwest with an average speed of 2.8 km per hour. According to the weather forecast, there will be light to moderate clouds in the next five days, but the chances of rain are low.
