New Delhi, 26 November (HS). Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat said on Tuesday that there is no opposition between spirituality and science. In both, only the person with faith gets justice. Dr. Bhagwat was speaking on the occasion of the release of ‘Banaaye Jeevan Pranwan’, a book based on life values written by Mukul Kanitkar and published by Eye View Enterprises in New Delhi. He said that blindness has no place in faith. Know and believe that this is faith.

Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat said that for the last 2000 years the world has been running under the influence of ego. The knowledge I receive from my senses is correct and there is nothing beyond it. Man has been living with this thinking ever since the advent of science. But this is not all. Science also has a scope and a limit. It is wrong to believe that there is nothing beyond that. He said that it is the specialty of Indian Sanatan culture that along with looking outside, we also started looking inside. We went deep inside and learned the truth of life. There is no reason for this and science to be in opposition. Know then believe. This is the method in spirituality also. The means are different. The instrument in spirituality is the mind. The energy of the mind comes from Prana. The stronger this power of Prana is, the more capable a person is to move forward on the path.

On this occasion, the special guest, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avadheshanand Giri Maharaj of Panchdasnam Juna Akhara said that the basis of life is God who is everywhere. The existence of life is from God only, there is vibration in Him, there is consciousness from Him, there is expression from Him, there is communication of essence from Him and there is life only. Life is consciousness. Swami Avadheshananda, while feeling thrilled to be in Delhi University, said that in the 70s he had dreamed of studying in Delhi University, but he had to go to Rajasthan. He said that the idea of coming here came to his mind 50 years ago and he has been able to reach here today. Expressing his views regarding the book, he said that the natural expression of God is life and its explanation is in this book.

Vice Chancellor of Delhi University Prof. Yogesh Singh said on this occasion that today’s generation is logical. But it is not appropriate to accept everything written in English as correct and argue too much about things written in Hindi and Sanskrit. The logic is correct only to a certain extent.

Discussing the book, the Vice Chancellor said that when we read this book, we will get a chance to understand the lifestyle related to life. Everyone will find something new in this book. Just as even a stone has life, this is a new thing. It is not right to argue too much on this, because too much argument reduces faith.

The author of the book, Mukul Kanitkar said that everything is scientific in Indian culture. All the rules of Ayurveda, Vastu Shastra, Architecture as well as daily routine and seasonality are not without reason. During the period of thousands of years of struggle, the basic essence of this scripture was forgotten. That is life science. The entire creation is filled with life. Life in India goes on according to its quantity and Satva-Raja-Tama qualities. An attempt has been made to present the elements given in various scriptures in simple language in this book. It will be helpful in clarifying the scriptural reasons for the common doubts that arise in the minds of the new generation.
