There is immense potential in mobile journalism: Dr. Harinath Kumar

Prayagraj, 18 October (Hindustan Reporter). A mobile journalism workshop was organized at Ishwar Sharan Degree College on Friday under the aegis of Cultural and Co-operative Activities Cell and Gandhi Peace Study Centre. Dr. Harinath Kumar, the instructor in the program, said that there are immense possibilities for the youth today in the field of mobile journalism. By learning the technical aspect of mobile journalism, youth can also become financially self-reliant in this field.

This program was organized under “Gandhi Month-Ek Raah Swavalamban Ki…”. In this, Dr. Harinath Kumar, teacher of Journalism and Mass Communication Department of Allahabad University, gave training. He trained the participants about different types of camera angles, frames, movement, vision etc. used in making videos and photos etc. on mobile.

During this, students made videos and took photographs from different camera angles. Students from various constituent colleges of Allahabad University and various faculties of Ishwar Sharan PG College participated in the workshop.

The guests were welcomed by cultural committee coordinator Dr. Gayatri Singh and cultural committee member Dr. Ashwini Devi expressed vote of thanks. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Ankit Pathak, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science. On this occasion, many participants including Cultural Committee member Dr. Anjana Srivastava, researchers Ranjit Pushpakar, Anurag Singh and Vrijesh Kumar were present.
