Bangalore-Kolkata flight fare reduced by 38 percent
The average fare for the Bengaluru-Kolkata flight this year has dropped by 38 per cent to Rs 6,319 from last year's Rs 10,195. The Chennai-Kolkata ticket price has dropped by 36 percent from Rs 8,725 to Rs 5,604. The average airfare for Mumbai-Delhi flight has dropped by 34 per cent from Rs 8,788 to Rs 5,762. Similarly, ticket prices on the Delhi-Udaipur route have dropped by 34 per cent from Rs 11,296 to Rs 7,469.

This reduction is 32 percent on Delhi-Kolkata, Hyderabad-Delhi and Delhi-Srinagar routes. According to PTI, there was an increase in air fares around Diwali last year.
