Jhunjhunu, 24 July (HS). Jhunjhunu police has solved the theft of 53 lakh rupees that happened in Nayasar village of Sadar police station area about a month ago. Police has arrested 8 people including 2 women in the case. Apart from this, a minor has also been detained. 25.21 lakh rupees in stolen cash, a mobile worth 30 thousand rupees and the car used during the incident have also been recovered from the possession of the accused.

Superintendent of Police Rajarshi Verma said that on 29 June 2024, Nayasar resident Sunita Kaswan had lodged a case. It was told that out of the money received from selling the land, 53 lakh rupees were kept in a box in a room of the house. On the night of 28 July, a birthday party was going on in the neighborhood. All the people of the house had gone to the party. When they returned, the locks of the room were broken. 53 lakh rupees kept in the box were missing.

The Superintendent of Police said that to catch the accused, Jhunjhunu Sadar Police Station, Cyber ​​Cell and DST team were constituted. 150 CCTV cameras were scanned at the incident spot and the roads around the village. People were questioned in 20-25 neighboring villages. During this, information was received from an informer that the accused of theft were sitting in the field of an accused in Chudi Chatarpura village of Mukundgarh police station area and were planning to commit theft at another place. On this, the team reached the spot and arrested Amit Kumar (23) son of Billuram, resident of Ward No. 8, Nawalgarh, Aman alias Roki alias Bahadur (22) son of Aslam, resident of Chudi Chatarpura of Mukundgarh police station area, Krishna Kumar (38) son of Girdhari Lal, Aditya alias Bhanja (19) son of Rakesh Kumar, resident of Dhirasar of Bissau police station area, Rinku alias Vicky (21) son of Kishore of Bhodki of Gudha police station area, resident of Ward No. 1 of Mandawa town. Ankit Kumar (23) resident of Subhash Chopra was arrested from the spot after cordoning off the area. During interrogation, the accused admitted the involvement of two women and a minor in the theft. Police arrested Rekha (32) wife of Rakesh resident of Nayasar and Manish wife of Krishna Kumar of Chudi Chatarpura. A minor has also been detained. Another accused Vikas Jangid son of Omprakash and other accused who helped in the theft are being searched for.
