Dewas, May 25 (HS). These days the spirits of thieves in Dewas are high. Constantly challenging the police, thieves are continuously committing thefts in the posh areas of the city. This time the thieves raided the empty house of Dewas-Shajapur MP Mahendra Singh Solanki. As soon as the information was received, top police officials including CSP reached the spot.

According to the information, on Friday night, thieves broke into BJP MP Mahendra Solanki's residence in Tilak Nagar, Dewas and looted everything. There was no one in the MP's house. MP Solanki has gone to Orissa for election campaign. The family members had gone out. Seeing the empty house, the thieves broke the lock and entered inside and committed the crime. Civil Lines police station is investigating the whole matter. It has not been confirmed yet how much goods the miscreants have taken from the house. At present, the family members are being awaited to come. Only then will it be known which goods have been stolen and how much loss has been caused. The police is continuously investigating inside the house with the help of fingerprints and dog squad. The CCTV cameras installed in the house are also being scanned. Many officers of Dewas police including the city Superintendent of Police are present on the spot.
