The thief, who was entering the house under the city police station in an attempt to steal, ran backwards after hearing the voice of the landlord and fell straight into the well, where there was also a poisonous snake. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and rescued the young man from the well in the night itself and admitted him to the district hospital.
Kotwali police station in-charge Arvind Jain told that on the night of Wednesday-Thursday, a youth was coming inside from the gate of the house built in the field of Sitasharan Tiwari for theft. When he came inside, the landlord called out, due to which the young man got scared and ran away and fell into a deep well nearby. Whose information was given to the Kotwali police. On the spot, the police saw that the young man was hanging with the help of a stone in a deep well in which a snake was also present. The police rescued the young man from the well in the night itself and admitted him to the district hospital.
Police said that during interrogation it was found that the youth is 23 year old Sambhar Singh, a resident of village Pauni police station Karanpathar. He works as a janitor. After drinking alcohol on the Chandas river, in an intoxicated state, he had gone to the gate of the house built in the fields. When the landlord heard shouting, the young man ran away in panic and fell into the well. Then, while chasing, the farm owner heard the sound of splashing in the water and informed the police about the incident.
