Chandigarh, 6 November (HS). Haryana Women and Child Development Department Minister Shruti Choudhary directed the departmental officers to ensure that the website of the department is updated all the time. It should be designed in such a way that the common man can understand the schemes.

Minister Shruti Chaudhary was holding a meeting with departmental officials in Chandigarh on Wednesday. He said that the links of the schemes in the website should be updated in such a way that when people open the website, they can go to the link and understand the schemes and take advantage of them without any problem. Any kind of negligence in website updating will not be tolerated. She herself will open the website and view it every day. He took the report of skill training program to women and instructed them to work more seriously in this direction. Instructions were also issued to provide employment to women by training them in making products from coarse grains. Choudhary said that the officers should work actively towards the implementation of schemes at the grassroots level for women and child welfare in the state by focusing on distribution of Vitamin D, skill development and nutrition among women. He said that Anganwadi workers can play an important role in the awareness campaign about water conservation and not burning stubble. That is why the department launched a special campaign in this regard. These are also related to the nutrition of women and children. He directed the departmental officers to give detailed report about the vacant posts so that the process for recruitment on them could be started.
