Indian Railways accepted the resignation

Vinesh Phogat has got a big relief after her resignation was accepted. Now the way for her to contest the elections is completely clear. If her resignation was not accepted, there could have been a crisis for Vinesh Phogat to enter the electoral race. The law says that if a person is in a government post and wants to contest elections, then first he has to resign and get an NOC from the department. The Returning Officer will accept the application only when the NOC has to be attached to the document at the time of nomination. Assembly elections are to be held in Haryana on October 5, for which the nomination process is going on. Its last date is September 12, just before which this is a relief news for Vinesh Phogat.

Let us tell you that Vinesh Phogat has been given a ticket by Congress from her in-laws' place Julana. Congress has been waiting for a long time to win the Julana seat. The last time Congress won this seat was in 2005. To improve the party's falling reputation, the party has made a big move by making Vinesh Phogat its candidate. Vinesh will face Jannayak Janata Party's (JJP) sitting MLA Amarjeet Dhanda. JJP had won the 2019 assembly elections. Amarjeet Dhanda defeated BJP's Parminder Singh Dhul by 24193 thousand votes.
