East Champaran, 29 September (HS). After the rains in the hilly and Terai areas of Nepal, a continuous rise is being recorded in the water level of Nepal's Gad, Tilawe and Sariswa rivers flowing in Raxaul block.

All the rivers of this region are in spate. The river water is spreading rapidly in many villages in the low-lying areas. Flood like situation has arisen in dozens of villages. Due to the spread of flood water into Sareh, paddy crops have also been completely submerged. Due to which farmers are facing problems.

About three feet of flood water is flowing on Bhelahi Station Road of the block. Due to which the people commuting are facing a lot of problems. There is water logging in the same subdivision complex also. Due to which people coming from far away places are facing a lot of trouble.

Due to continuous rise in Sarisava river, flood water has entered many residential areas of Raxaul city. Due to which three feet water is flowing in Sunderpur located in ward number four of the city. Many people are worried due to flood water entering their homes.

Flood water has entered the low lying areas of other wards of the city including Ahirwa Tola, Gandhinagar, Baba Mathiya located on Naga Road, Chhathiya Ghat, Islampur. However, people felt a sigh of relief as there was no rain in the border areas on Sunday. Is of. This is being continuously monitored by the same officials. The water of Sariswa River has also entered Virganj city of neighboring country Nepal.
