When will the 22nd installment come and which farmers will get direct benefits?

According to information received from departmental sources, the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Yojana can be released into the accounts of farmers any day between February and April in the year 2026. However, its final date will be announced officially by the government soon. Keep in mind that the benefit of this scheme will be available only to those farmers in whose name cultivable land is registered and who have strictly followed all the guidelines of the government. If you have not yet done your e-KYC or have not linked your bank account with Aadhaar, your installment may get stuck midway. Also, if any member of your family pays income tax, you will be ineligible for this scheme. Therefore, to avoid any problem, immediately check your status by visiting your nearest Public Service Center (CSC) or PM Kisan Portal.

How to check your name in PM Kisan beneficiary list sitting at home

You do not need to wander anywhere to know the status of your installment. Farmers can go to the official website pmkisan.gov.in from their mobile sitting at home and click on the option of ‘Beneficiary Status’ or ‘Beneficiary List’. Here you have to enter your registration number, registered mobile number or Aadhar number. After this your complete details will appear on the screen. If your name is in the list, then don’t worry, your installment will come to your account on time. If the name is not visible, then check your documents immediately. Sometimes even a small spelling mistake in account number, IFSC code or Aadhaar details can stop your installment. Therefore always keep all your details updated.

To curb fraud and extend the benefits of the scheme to the right beneficiaries, the Modi government has made e-KYC mandatory. Money will not be released to any farmer without e-KYC. You can accomplish this in two very easy ways. The first way is to go to the portal and do KYC sitting at home through the OTP received on the Aadhaar linked mobile number. The second way is to go to your nearest CSC center and complete it through fingerprint or biometric method. Along with this, it is equally important to have DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) enabled in the bank account and it is linked to Aadhaar. Many farmers’ money gets stuck just because there is no Aadhaar seeding in their bank account.

Where and how to complain if Rs 2000 is not credited to the account?

If money does not come to your account even after the release of the 22nd installment, do not panic at all. First of all go to the portal and check your payment status. If ‘FTO Generated’ or ‘Payment Success’ is written there, then wait for a few days. If you still do not find any solution, you can immediately contact your district’s agriculture department, local accountant or public service center. Apart from this, the government has also issued toll-free helpline numbers 155261 and 011-24300606 for the convenience of farmers. You can also lodge your complaint online by directly going to the ‘Grievance’ section of the portal. On receiving the complaint, the officials will re-check your documents and if everything is found correct, your pending installment will be released immediately.
