A horrific incident took place in Pune, Maharashtra on Sunday in which the whole family was shocked by the waterfall accident. A 36-year-old woman along with a 13-year-old girl and an 8-year-old girl died in this incident. All three bodies have been recovered from the river near the dam. Apart from this, a 9-year-old and a 4-year-old child are reported missing. A horrifying video of this incident also surfaced.
The Ansari family that drowned in the river was from Agra and had come to Pune to attend the wedding of a relative. This family, which had come to attend the wedding, suddenly planned to go to Lonavala. Since Lonavala is a famous tourist destination of Pune, a plan was made to visit Lonavala, so the Ansari family left for a walk in Lonavala in the morning.
Regarding the incident, the police said that 17 members of a family from Syednagar had hired a private bus to go to a tourist palace near Lonavala for a picnic in Hadapsar area of Pune. On Sunday afternoon around 12.30 pm, 10 people got trapped due to sudden rise in the water level of the waterfall. A girl was saved by the people present there. In this incident, 10 members of the same family were washed away. Five people came out safely, but a woman and her four small children were washed away.

The Ansari family is in deep grief after the accident. The deceased have been identified as Noor Shahista Ansari (35), Amina Adil Ansari (13), Maria Ansari (7), Humida Ansari (6) and Adnan Ansari (4). Sabahat Ansari (4) and Maria Aqeel Ansari (9) are still missing.
Four days ago, there was a wedding in this family. After the happy atmosphere, a mountain of sorrow has fallen on the Ansari family. Maulana Salman Ansari lives in Syednagar Lane No. 21. His brother-in-law Tariq Ansari lives next to him. Maulana Ansari's brother-in-law Tariq Ansari and Gulzar Ansari got married in Syednagar on June 25. Many people including Maulana Ansari's two daughters and sister-in-law Noor Shahista Ansari had gone to Bhushi Bandh in Lonavala.
Mazar Ansari told that his sister Gulzar Ansari was married to Tariq Ansari. Some relatives from Agra had come for the wedding. After which they made a plan to travel.
