After assuming charge in Chatra district, he has taken departmental action by registering FIR against many careless and undisciplined officials. In the same sequence, on Saturday, the then Pratappur zonal officer Nityanand Das was booked in the case of embezzlement of land, wrongly putting government land online against government rules, wrongly deducting lump sum receipt, indiscipline and negligence towards work. In the light of the allegations made, Form A has been prepared and a recommendation has been made to take departmental disciplinary action. He said that this kind of attitude of the then zonal officer is against the rules of Jharkhand Government Servant Conduct Rules-2001.
Taking cognizance of the matter, an investigation team was formed through Deputy Commissioner Ramesh Gholap in the light of the video circulated on social media related to recovery of illegal amount in the name of rejection of land registration by Revenue Sub Inspector of Pratappur Zone, Narayan Jha. After the investigation, it was told by the then Sub-Divisional Officer Chatra Surendra Oraon on 16 August 2024 that during the investigation, the applicant from Sakin Babhane, Block Pratappur, District Chatra had told that the amount was being transferred in the name of getting the filing rejected. Was staying. In this case, Narayan Jha, Revenue Sub-Inspector, Pratappur Zone, went to the spot of the incident and interrogated him at his official residence. During the interrogation, it was accepted through him that the video which is being circulated on social media regarding the transaction of money in lieu of the said filing is from this place and I am the one in this video. The money is being calculated through me only. During the investigation, it was also found that Jha was not the revenue sub-inspector of Halka related to the land in question. Despite Jha not being the Revenue Sub-Inspector of the concerned Halka, there seems to be a possibility of involvement of other employees, officers and other persons of the circle in getting the work done by the other Halka, getting the filings rejected etc. In the above light, an FIR has been registered under relevant sections of law against Narayan Jha, Revenue Sub-Inspector, other involved personnel, officers and involved persons on charges of exchanging money in lieu of doing government work and recovering illegal amount of money. Appropriate legal action has been taken. An FIR was registered against Revenue Sub Inspector Narayan Jha regarding this, on which prosecution has been approved.

In this, the entire matter was accepted through Revenue Sub-Inspector Narayan Jha. An FIR was registered against him under relevant sections. Prosecution approval has been given in the case. At the same time, the possibility of involvement of some people also seemed to be there and the investigation was also going on. In the light of the allegations made against the then Pratappur zonal officer Nityanand Das regarding arbitrariness, arbitrariness, indiscipline and negligence towards work in the said case and other cases, Form A While forming the department, it has been recommended to take disciplinary action. If any kind of complaint is received from any area, the officers involved will not be spared at all.
