Seeing the elderly woman alone at home, the accused committed this robbery. An elderly woman was robbed of her chain, purse and the scooter kept in her house. Both the accused work as painters and had committed such an incident to repay the loan. Rajendra Singh Bisht, son of Sher Singh Bisht, resident of Nagal Jwalapur, told in the complaint given to the police that he had gone out to a function with his family members, when he returned from the function, his mother was lying in the courtyard of the house in an injured state, who was taken to hospital. He picked up. On enquiry, his mother told that at around 23.00 at night, two persons had tied a handkerchief on their mouth. They came into the house through the roof and seeing him alone, attacked him. They snatched a gold chain from his neck, a small purse (which contained some money) and also took away the scooter number UK07 VV- 8066 parked in the courtyard of the house. His mother suspected Manish and Bharat, the tenants living in the house, of causing the above incident, who have been missing from the house since the incident.

The police team has traced the accused through CCTV cameras. During checking at Lal Tappad, near Kali Mata Temple, the two accused who carried out the incident, Manish Tyagi, son of Lokesh Tyagi and Bharat, son of Bhimaram, were arrested along with the scooter looted in the incident. A chain and two thousand rupees in cash were recovered from them. He has been presented in the court.
