Patna, 07 September (HS). Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai, while addressing the youth at the first organization minister Ravindra Kesari Teacher Honor Ceremony of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bihar province, said that the story will be written only by those who will sacrifice their youth for the country. He said that national power is possible only with student power, only then India will become developed and a world leader.

Union Minister Nityanand Rai said here on Saturday that the revolution in today's India will not be born from Lal Salaam, but from the scientific zeal among students. Remembering Swami Vivekananda, he said that Vivekananda has played an important role in the enlightenment of national consciousness. Swami Vivekananda's childhood name was Narendra and in today's India too, a Prime Minister named Narendra is sowing the seeds of India and Indianness. He saluted the contribution of teachers in the society.

Nityanand Rai said that it is the responsibility of the teachers to sow the seeds of quality in as many students as possible and it is the responsibility of the students to absorb as much as possible from their teachers.

ABVP National General Secretary Yagyavalkya Shukla said that Ravindra Kesari was filled with the spirit of serving the country since childhood. He was a hardworking and efficient administrator. In those days when there were only a few ABVP workers in Bihar, he contributed significantly in building the organization with hard work and dedication even in those difficult circumstances. His entire life has been dedicated to Bihar and the organization.

Shukla gave a historical description of the contribution of teachers in nation building. He said that the contribution of teachers has ranged from the establishment of empires to the concept of Ram Rajya and defeating the power of Alexander. A nation is built only when the Guru and the disciple come together. The path of the Guru and the disciple is the path of unity. He said that Bihar has been a land of knowledge. Our Gurus have nurtured it with their penance, sacrifice and initiation. We need to build on this foundation and we need to be proud of our Bihari identity.

Under the aegis of Vidyarthi Vikas Parishad, Patna Mahanagar, the first organization minister of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bihar province, Ravindra Kesari Teacher Samman Samaroh was organized in the Satyendra Narayan Sinha Auditorium of AN College, Patna on Saturday. At the beginning of the program, the guests paid floral tribute to the oil painting of Kesari. In this program, the chief guest and the keynote speaker honored all the professors.

It is noteworthy that Professor (Late) Ravindra Kesari was born in Munger district. He was educated (M.Sc) and PhD in Botany. He became a professor at Patna Science College in 1959. In 1972, he became the first organization minister of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bihar state.
