Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday presented a check of Rs 4 lakh each to the dependents of 28 victims of mob lynching and the families of 15 youths who died unfortunately during the Jharkhand Product Constable Physical Efficiency Test in the auditorium of the Jharkhand Ministry. Besides, financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh was given to the dependents of a person injured in the mob lynching incident.
The Chief Minister presented a check of Rs 5 lakh as assistance to Sonakshi Kumari, daughter of Mithun Singh Kherwar, who died in the mob lynching incident under Ormanjhi police station in Ranchi district in the year 2023. Also expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims present in the auditorium. Expressing condolences, the Chief Minister said that the state government will provide all possible help to the affected families.
