Last phase of voting on June 1

So far, voting has been completed peacefully in 487 seats in six phases of Lok Sabha elections. While in the seventh phase, voting will be held on 57 seats on June 1. In the seventh phase, voting will be held in eight seats of Bihar, four of Himachal Pradesh, three of Jharkhand, six of Odisha, 13 of Punjab, 14 of Uttar Pradesh, nine of West Bengal and one seat of Chandigarh. The total average voting in the first phase was 59.71 percent, in the second phase 60.96 percent, in the third phase 61.45 percent, in the fourth phase 69.16 percent, in the fifth phase 62.02 percent and in the sixth phase about 60 percent voting took place. The Election Commission had decided to declare the election results on June 4, but later changed the dates for Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh and decided to declare the results on June 2.
