The son wanted to go abroad after 12th but the father was not ready; He was also shot dead and so was himself.

Amritsar : In village Nangli under Kambo police station, a young man tried to commit suicide by shooting his father, in which the father died on the spot, while the son's condition remains critical. The matter is being investigated and the body has been taken into custody.

According to the police, Rupinder Singh of Nangli village is a farmer and he wanted to make his son Amandeep Singh a lawyer but he wanted to settle abroad after doing IELTS. There used to be frequent fights in the family between father and son regarding this matter. On Tuesday morning too, there was a dispute between the father and son regarding the same matter. In anger, the son first shot his father with his licensed pistol and then tried to commit suicide by shooting himself. Rupinder Singh died on the spot while Amandeep Singh has been admitted to the hospital.
