Ranchi, 06 September (HS). Criminals snatched the gold chain from an old woman present at a cattle feed shop in Pandra OP area and fled. The incident happened on Friday.
According to the information, the woman was sweeping the animal feed shop located inside the boundary wall of her house. Manju Singh told that two criminals arrived on a bike. One of them came inside her house and asked for calcium medicine and enticed her with his words and escaped after getting the chance, snatched her gold chain and fled. Elderly woman Manju Singh came out and shouted but by then both the criminals had fled from the spot.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Pandara OP police reached the spot and investigated. The police have got CCTV footage from the spot.
Kotwali DSP Prakash Soy said that a thorough investigation of the entire matter is being conducted.
