Pilgrims going on Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia are facing severe heat. Saudi Arabia has now updated the data of deaths during Hajj pilgrimage, according to which 1300 pilgrims have died due to heat so far. The special thing is that most of those who died were those who had come without official permission.
The Saudi Press Agency report says, 'Sadly, the number of people who died during Hajj has reached 1,301. Of these, 83 percent were those who went on Hajj without permission. These people were traveling a long distance on foot in the scorching heat. This has led to deaths. Earlier last week, AFP had said in its report that 1100 people have died so far during the Hajj pilgrimage. The highest number of people who died during Hajj was 658 Egyptians. 630 of them had come without permission. Until Sunday, the Saudi government had not officially released any information on the deaths during Hajj. However, the Saudi government admitted that June 15 and 16 were the peak of the Hajj pilgrimage and 577 people died during this period. These deaths occurred when the devotees were performing the ritual of stoning the devil.
Saudi Arabia's Health Minister Fahad al-Jalajal said on Sunday that this year's Haj pilgrimage was successful. He said that we are making every effort to make people aware of the scorching heat. He said, we pray that Allah forgives the dead and grants them heaven. Haj is also one of the 5 principles of Islam.
According to the manta, every Muslim must pray at least once in his life Hajj One must definitely do it. Usually 15 to 20 lakh people go for Haj every year. This year the number is 18 lakh. Out of these, 16 lakh people have come to Saudi Arabia from abroad. The problem this year is that the temperature in Mecca is up to 52 degrees Celsius. Travelling in the open sun in such extreme heat is troubling people. Many pilgrims who returned to India from Haj also said that people are fainting there due to sunlight and heat. Meanwhile, the Saudi administration says that the number of dead is more, who had come to Saudi Arabia for some other work. But now they are participating in Haj without permission. Among these people, the number of people who have come from Egypt is more.
