The Secretary-in-Charge inspected the District Magistrate's office

Champawat, June 26 (HS). Commissioner and Secretary Revenue Council and Secretary-in-charge of Champawat district Chandresh Kumar, who arrived on a two-day visit to Champawat district, inspected various establishments of the District Magistrate's office, court, disaster operation center, archives on Wednesday. He reviewed revenue works etc. by holding a meeting with the officers of the Revenue Department and all the desk in-charges of the District Magistrate's office.

During the inspection of various desks, the Revenue Commissioner took various information related to the desk from the desk in-charges. After this, he held a meeting with the officers and employees of the Revenue Department in the District Office Auditorium and took information regarding revenue works etc.

District Magistrate Navneet Pandey welcomed the Commissioner of Revenue Council on his arrival at the district office for the first time and while giving important information including the administrative units of the district, said that a total of 1942 assets have been identified in the district, out of which till date the work of creating polygons for 1303 assets has been completed in the developed mobile application, the remaining work is in progress.

In this regard, the Secretary said that it is mandatory to obtain details of all the assets of each department in the district from those departments and make their boundary (polygon) in the online application. He said that the Revenue Department should also inspect the assets shown by the department on the spot.

During this, the District Magistrate informed that last year 91% revenue was collected in the district. This year, the process for 100% collection is already underway. During the meeting, while reviewing the pending cases in the District Magistrate Court and other subordinate courts, the DM informed that more cases are being disposed of in the courts as compared to the cases filed every month in the district.

The Secretary said that information related to the date of the case in the court should be uploaded online in the RCMS portal. This is an initiative of e-governance. It should be fully utilized.

Before this, he was given a guard of honour. The secretary inspected various sections of the district office as well as the disaster operations centre.

Additional District Magistrate Hemant Kumar Verma, Sub-District Magistrate Saurav Aswal, Rinku Bisht, Chief Administrative Officer Geeta Gautam and various desk in-charges of the district office were present in the meeting.
