News India Live, Digital Desk: Every year around February, budget news starts appearing on TV. We and you just see the Finance Minister on the screen with a bag, but have you ever thought that behind that one bag there are three places in Delhi? North Block, Minto Road and Rashtrapati Bhavan But why does the Budget create such a stir weeks before it?

There are many secrets imprisoned in the walls of these buildings, which decide the future of the country. Let us know the ‘insider truth’ behind these locations today, that too in a very simple manner.

1. North Block: Where the ‘brains’ are planted
North Block is actually the home of the Finance Ministry. It can be called the ‘brain center’ of the budget. About 10-15 days before the presentation of the budget, the security here is as if preparations are being made for a major war. The most famous part here is the ‘Halwa Ceremony’. After distribution of halwa, many senior officers of the ministry become cut off from the outside world. No mobile, no internet, and no going home! Until the budget is presented, these people remain imprisoned inside so that not a single data is leaked outside.

2. Minto Road: Where ‘Privacy’ is printed
You might be thinking that now everything is digital, the budget is read from a tablet, so what is the need of printing? But the truth is that paper has its own importance. Government Press of India is situated on Minto Road. For years, copies of the budget have been printed here under very strict security. The people working here are under such strict surveillance that they cannot even talk to their families. Although now the process has become quite high-tech, the level of security is still the same.

3. Rashtrapati Bhavan: Where the seal of ‘approval’ is put
The day of budget starts from Rashtrapati Bhavan. According to the Constitution, the Finance Minister goes to meet the first citizen of the country i.e. the President before presenting the budget in the Parliament. This is not just a courtesy, but a constitutional compulsion and respect. Unless the President gives the ‘green signal’, the Finance Minister cannot read even a single line of the budget in Parliament. The ‘green signal’ received from there gives real strength to the budget.

finally my opinion
Friends, budget is not just a game of numbers, it is a tradition that has been cherished since independence. Next time you watch the budget news on TV, you will understand how big a role the sleep of North Block officers, the secrecy of the Minto Road press and the dignity of Rashtrapati Bhavan played in taking that red bag to Parliament.
