Ghazipur, 01 July (HS). Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat on Monday visited Siddhpeeth Hathiyaram Math in Jakhania. The Sangh chief, who came to Siddhpeeth Peeth for the third time, performed the ritualistic darshan of Jyotirlinga after worshipping Goddess Budhiya Mai, Siddhidatri Mata to gain spiritual energy. After the darshan pujan, he also performed Rudrabhishek amidst chanting of Vedic mantras.
After the darshan pujan at the monastery, Sangh chief Dr. Bhagwat said that coming here gives me energy. Before this, the Sangh chief was welcomed by the Peethadheeshwar Mahamandaleshwar Bhavani Nandan Yati of the monastery and the saints of the monastery along with District Magistrate Ghazipur Aryaka Akhouri, SP Omvir Singh. Seeing the presence of the Sangh chief in the ashram, impenetrable security was made. The Sangh chief also gave the message of environmental protection by planting trees in the Hathiyaram Math premises.
