Pushpa 2: The Rule The story begins from where Pushpa: The Rise It was over. Pushpa has now become a big red sandalwood smuggler and is living luxuriously. He lives in a luxurious bungalow with his wife Srivalli and mother. His look has changed a lot—he looks different now with stylish clothes, jewellery, and red nail paint.
However, there are still two big challenges in his life. First, his stepbrother, who never misses an opportunity to call him illegitimate all the time. Second, SP Bhanwar Singh, whose sole aim is to teach Pushpa a lesson.
Review: Story and Direction
Director Sukumar has improved many things this time, which Pushpa: The Rise I was ignored. The main attraction of the film is Pushpa’s childhood trauma. How a boy, who only wants respect and to get his mother and himself accepted by his father’s family, overcomes all odds and becomes the king of smuggling, is the heart of the film.
The film starts with a bang and in the first half it completely lives up to the expectations of the audience. But the story slows down a bit in the second half. At times it feels like the film is losing its direction, leaving the audience wondering where the story is going.
Allu Arjun’s performance:
The biggest credit for taking this film to new heights goes to Allu Arjun. He has made this character a part of his life in the last five years. This is the reason why his confidence is visible this time. When Pushpa says, “Will not bow down,” So tremendous confidence is visible in his face and voice.
Pushpa’s emotional moments in the film, especially the scenes with Srivalli, win the hearts of the audience. Each new experience of Pushpa is linked to the trauma of her past, which gives depth to the story. The climax is explosive and Allu Arjun’s performance adds to it.
Rashmika Mandanna’s role:
Rashmika Mandanna has added more life to the character of Srivalli this time. his character somewhat Animal Looks like Gitanjali of the film – where she is angry at her husband, then also feeds him with love. She expresses her love when happy and also scolds severely when angry.
There is also a monologue scene in the film, which Rashmika has played very well. However, his character seems limited in the main story.
Fahadh Faasil and other characters:
Fahadh Faasil, who plays the character of SP Bhanwar Singh, could have been introduced in a better way. The depth of his character was not as much as the audience expected. Apart from this, many other supporting characters were also seen on the sidelines.
Music and Cinematography:
The music of the film, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, blends perfectly with the story. Songs have been used well where necessary.
Excellent work has also been done in cinematography. Especially the Jatara scene has been filmed very beautifully. Every frame keeps the audience engaged with the story.
Message of the film:
Pushpa 2: The Rule Not only is it full of action and entertainment, it also has an important message about the safety and respect of women.
