Jammu, September 12 (HS). Bharatiya Janata Party's National General Secretary and Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh in-charge Tarun Chugh has raised questions on the role of Abdullah family in the suspicious death of Jan Sangh President Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. In the nomination rally of BJP candidate Surjit Singh Salathia in Samba in the presence of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chugh said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee died during the government of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah.
He said that during the time of Sheikh Abdullah, there were two constitutions and two flags in Jammu and Kashmir. Dr. Mukherjee led the struggle against this system. He said that after Sheikh Abdullah, now his family is misleading the people and talking about restoring Article 370 here. He said that BJP has worked to awaken the spirit of nationalism in Jammu and Kashmir. BJP is following the ideals of Pandit Prem Nath Dogra. He appealed to the people of Samba to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by voting for BJP.
