Bijnor, July 31 (HS)| Police registered a case against the finance employees who gave false news of robbery in Nagina police station area and challaned them under sections related to embezzlement. Nagina police heaved a sigh of relief when the false news of robbery was exposed.
Two employees of Fusion Microfinance Company, Ankush Kumar, resident of Kamarajpur Mandavali and Bittu Kumar, resident of Sarkhedi, were returning after collecting money from Begumpur Shadi and Telipura. When they reached near Dharampura on Nagina Akbarabad Road, two miscreants were already standing with bikes and four miscreants came from behind on two bikes. They stopped the bike of both the employees and fled after snatching the bag full of collection of about 95 thousand rupees from Bittu.
As soon as the information was received, Police Circle Officer Rakesh Vashishth, Police Station Incharge Pravesh Pathak and Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Ram Arj, SSI Deepak Kumar, Bishnoi Sarai Police Outpost Incharge Subhash Tomar, Lal Sarai Police Outpost Incharge Uday Raj reached the spot and started combing the area.
When Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Ram Arj strictly interrogated both the employees in his car, the robbery incident turned out to be false. The bag that Ankush was carrying had about 93 thousand rupees in it. Police told that the bag was found lying near the motorcycle. The collected money was also found in it. Police considered the robbery to be fake and took action by filing a case against Ankush and Bittu under sections related to embezzlement on the complaint of the finance company manager and challaning both of them.
