The right of Hindus to worship in Gyanvapi remains intact, Allahabad High Court rejects the petition of Muslim side

Gyanvapi controversy news: Muslim party has suffered a big setback in Gyanvapi. The Allahabad High Court rejected the petition of the Muslim side and upheld the right of Hindus to worship in the basement of Vyasji. Now Hindus can continue worshiping here. This decision is being considered a big blow for the Muslim parties. They may consider challenging this decision in the Supreme Court.

Earlier the court had reserved the decision

Earlier, Allahabad High Court had heard the case of worshiping in the basement of Vyasji in the Gyanvapi Mosque complex of Varanasi. After this the court reserved its decision. Senior Supreme Court lawyer CS Vaidyanathan presented arguments on behalf of the Hindu side. He said, 'On the right side of Gyanvapi is the basement where Hindus used to worship till 1993. Under Order 40 Rule 1 CPC, Varanasi Court appointed DM as receiver. This decision will not affect the rights of Muslims in any way because Muslims have never prayed in basements.

Earlier, Varanasi District Court had also given verdict in favor of Hindus in this case. Against which the Muslim side reached Allahabad High Court. However, here too he was disappointed and the Allahabad High Court upheld the right of Hindus to worship in the basement of Vyasji at Gyanvapi. Muslim parties demanded a ban on puja.
