Syria News: Rebels in Syria captured the capital Damascus on 8 December. Earlier, former President Bashar al-Assad had fled the country to Russia. After this incident, big claims are being made about President Bashar al-Assad.

According to the information, before leaving the country, Bashar al-Assad gave military information to the enemy country Israel, so that he could leave safely. It is being said that he had given information to Israel about the arms depot. Since then, Israel is continuously bombing those areas.

Big claim made in the report

According to Abdulkadir Selvi, a journalist for a Turkish newspaper, Bashar al-Assad gave Israel information about the locations of weapons depots, missile systems and fighter jets, so that they could not be attacked while in flight. After the coup in Syria, Israel has started air strikes on Syrian army targets. From this Abdulkadir Selvi concluded that the report was likely to be true.

According to a report published in a Turkish newspaper, Israel played a role in Bashar al-Assad’s escape from the country and many other aspects are also involved. However, no concrete information related to this has been shared in the report. It is noteworthy that at the end of November, rebel forces in Syria started protesting. A few days later, Damascus was captured. Meanwhile, Bashar al-Assad has fled without any information to Russia, where President Putin has given him asylum.

I didn’t want to run away

Regarding leaving the country, Bishop Al-Assad said that in some reports it is being said that he already wanted to leave the country and live in Russia. But, there is no truth in such news. All this happened suddenly. I was fulfilling my responsibilities till the morning of 8th December.
