The protesters of five districts will get their pending pension

Ranchi, 25 July (HS). The pending pension will be paid to the agitators who agitated for the formation of a separate Jharkhand state. This pending pension will be given to the agitators or their dependents of Ranchi, Jamtara, Latehar, Chatra and Garhwa districts.

In this regard, the Home Prison and Disaster Management Department has allocated an amount of Rs 30 lakh on Thursday.

The Home Secretary has issued an order regarding this. The order states that before making the payment, the DC of the concerned district will ensure that the amount is paid to the agitators identified by the state government. The districts for which the amount has been allocated include 11.45 lakh for Jamtara, 3.54 lakh for Latehar, 9.97 lakh for Chatra, 1.16 lakh for Garhwa and 3.91 lakh for Ranchi.
