The price of lemon, which was available at Rs 40 per kg, reached Rs 200. Traders increased the prices as the demand increased compared to the income.

Lemon price increased in Gujarat: Lemon prices have skyrocketed in Ahmedabad. With the onset of summer, the demand for lemon has increased in the market. With this, the price of lemon has hit a double century. Thus, the price of 1 kg lemon in the retail market is Rs 200 to Rs 220. The special thing is that some time ago lemon was sold in bulk at Rs 40 per kg. Whereas in retail it was sold at Rs 80 to 100 per kg. According to traders, the price of lemon is likely to increase further.

On the other hand, the income from green vegetables has increased with the onset of summer. Due to which the wholesale prices of green vegetables have fallen by Rs 5 to Rs 30. Chilli is available in bulk at Rs 20, mint at Rs 20, coriander at Rs 15 per kg. In which retail chilli is being sold at Rs 50, mint at Rs 55, coriander at Rs 50 per kg. In retail, the prices of tomato, desi cucumber, cabbage, lady's finger, choli, guar, papdi, raviya etc. have reduced by Rs 5 to Rs 20 per kg.
